General Conditions:

  1. The last date for receipt of application is 5 March 2025.
  2. The Competent Authority of Sangeet Natak Akademi reserves the right to extend the last date for receipt of applications and also reserves the right to amend the advertisement and/or cancel the recruitment exercise for the post at any stage of recruitment process.
  3. The candidates are required to pay the following fees:
General & OBC General & OBC Women/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped /EWS
Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) Non-refundable Nil
A fee of Rs. 300 is applicable to all applicants except those in the exempted category.
4. The eligibility conditions including maximum age limit will be counted as on 5 March 2025.
5. Required Documents: Self-attested copies of the following documents are required to be uploaded along with the application.
  1. Proof of Date of Birth: Matriculation/10th Standard Certificate issued by the Central/State Educational Board indicating the Date of Birth.
  2. Educational Qualification(s): Marksheets and Degree and or Diploma Certificates
  3. Experience certificate (s) issued by the employer indicating the date of joining and relieving.
  4. No Objection Certificate from present employer, if employed.
  5. Caste/Tribe/EWS/Physically handicapped (for fee concession): Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format.
  6. Certificate in support of age relaxation, if age relaxation is claimed

  1. The upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants as per Government of India instructions. A candidate seeking age relaxation under this category is required to submit a certificate issued after the date of advertisement from his/her employer on the letter head.
  2. The age relaxation will be admissible to such Government servants as are working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that his service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the post the recruitment of which has been advertised.
7. Details about the date, time and venue of written test will be intimated to the eligible candidates
8. The number of vacancy may vary subject to the requirement at the stage of final selection.
9. The jurisdiction for all legal matters for this recruitment will be exclusively at New Delhi (and legal cases filed (if any) in other courts will not be maintainable).
10. Candidates are requested to see the Akademi's website (www.sangeetnatak.gov.in) on a regular basis for any new announcement in this regard. Any new announcement will be made only through the website of the Akademi.
11. The appointment will be subject to medical examination and verification of character and antecedents of the candidate from the competent authorites.
12. The selected candidate will be governed by the Rules and Regulations as are applicable to other employees of the Akademi and necessary undertakings will have to be given before appointment.
13. The candidate selected for appointment is liable to be transferred anywhere in India.
14. No TADA will be admissible for attending written test, interview or joining the post.
15. Canvassing through any source will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
16. The Selection Procedure is follows:
  1. Deputy Secretary (Documentation) : (1 Post)
    1. Written exam of 70 Marks with qualifying marks 50% i.e. 35. Candidates up to 10 times of the post who will qualify in exam will be called for interview in order of merit.

      There will be an interview of 30 marks.

  2. Stenographer – (2 Posts) ( 1 English & 1 Hindi)
    1. Written exam – (100 marks) – Qualifying marks will be 50. However limited candidates will be called for skill test in order of merit.
    2. Shorthand and typing test – Maximum 25 times i.e. 50 candidates will be called for skill test for shorthand speed @ 100 w.p.m. and typing with speed @ 45 w.p.m. These speeds are mandatory but qualifying only. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit of written exam.

      Syllabus: There will be four parts of exam objective type of 100 questions.

      1. 25 Questions Arithmetics
      2. 25 Questions English or Hindi
      3. 25 Questions reasoning
      4. 25 Questions General Knowledge and current affairs.

      100 Questions – 1.5 hours.

    3. Recording Engineer – (1 Post)

      Part I Exam: There will be an exam of 50 marks with necessary qualifying marks 25. Maximum up to 10 candidates in order of merit will be called for interview.

      Part II -50 Marks (Interview & Skilled test)
      Interview – Limited number of candidates qualify in written exam will be called for interview.
      Final selection will be made based upon the combine total of exam and interview in order of merit. There will be separate committees for exam and interview.

    4. Assistants - (4 Posts)

      Selection will be based upon 2 tier exam.

      1. Objective type exam 200 marks with qualifying marks 100. All the candidates qualify in first phase objective type exam will be called for 2nd phase exam. Questions will be of Graduation level.
        1. 50 Questions Arithmetics
        2. 50 Questions English
        3. 50 Questions reasoning
        4. 50 Questions General Knowledge and current affairs.
        5. 200 Questions – 2 hours

      2. 2nd phase exam (50 marks) – Descriptive to check writing skills and command on language.
      3. Final selection will be made based upon the combined score in two exams in order of merit.

    5. Junior Clerk – (3 Posts)
      1. Selection will be based upon written exam (100) marks with qualifying marks 50, followed by skill test i.e. typing test with speed 30 words per minute.
      2. Written exam will be of objective with 100 questions – 1.5. Hours (25 Maths, 25 General Knowledge, 25 English, 25 reasoning) will be of 12th standard and minimum qualifying marks will be 50.
      3. Candidates who will obtain qualifying marks and maximum 20 times candidates i.e. 60 will be called for typing test. Typing test @ 30 w.p.m. is mandatory but qualifying.
      4. Final selection will be based upon the merit in exam subject to qualifying skill test.
    6. MTS – (5 Posts)

      Selection will be based upon the written exam only. 100 Questions (100 marks – 1.5 hours) in order of merit but qualifying marks 50.

      1. 25 Questions Maths
      2. 25 Questions English
      3. 25 Questions reasoning
      4. 25 Questions General Knowledge and current affairs

      Questions will be of 10th standard.
